University

The University of Huelva is divided and located at three different places around the city. They are called: Campus El Carmen, Campus La Merced and Campus La Rabida. Your studies define which university you go to. I just had classes on Campus El Carmen. This campus is a little bit outside of the city centre. However, you can easily get there by bus (which takes you around 30 minutes), by bike (around 20 minutes) or on foot (around 45 minutes).

As mentioned before, during the orientation week we got to know all necessary information and our coordinator was really quickly in answering all E-mails and questions we had.
Nevertheless, everything was kind of chaotic. First of all, due to the economic crisis the University has a huge money problem and so they didn't offer all the courses that they were supposed to. Moreover, the registration process took also a very long time. To give you an example, even though the courses started in February, I was officially registered at the end of March. Just at that moment I was sure I could take part in all of my courses. Because above all those problems, we were not sure to be accepted in the classes since there were not enough places available for everyone. It also took us a long time to figure out who was responsible for the internship that we were supposed to do there.
However, in the end everything was fine and I could do all the courses I was intended to do.
