I applied for my Erasmus semester in February 2014. My first destination choice was Huelva and the second was Barcelona.
In order to apply for an Erasmus semester we had to hand in a résumé, a recommendation letter from one of our teachers at PH and a letter of Motivation explaining our reasons for applying for a semester abroad.
In June 2014 I got my official confirmation and I was more than happy when I realised that I was given the opportunity to spend my Erasmus semester in Huelva. From that moment on, I got a lot of E-mails from my guest university with important information concerning courses, dates, and so on.
Next we had to fill in our learning agreement with the courses that we would like to attend in our guest university. Therefore, we talked to our coordinator to make sure that our chosen courses will be accepted at our home university.
Moreover, it is mandatory to join a Spanish language course, which is organised by PH, before starting your Erasmus semester. Furthermore, we had to make a language test (online) before leaving and shortly before returning.
Besides, we participated in all the Erasmus meetings, where we got all the necessary information about our semester abroad.
