Finland, University of Oulu

At half of this Erasmus experience

Meanwhile I'm already halfway through my time here in Finland. It goes very fast. Meanwhile I follow now some new subjects: ethics, educational philosophy and ethics, society and educational Institutions and arts. The last course is absolutely the best! Every lesson is 4 hours long, the teacher let us experiment with all kinds of materials, we go to museums, we work with iPads and make movies. The teacher has so much ideas and he is full of inspiration. This is really interesting. Meanwhile, I handed in some essays. The essays are not like what we are used to in the Netherlands. They are short, about 3 pages per essay. There was also a Dutch guest speaker at the course:Early childhood education and care. She taught at the KPZ for a few years. That was very coincidental. I've also been to a Finnish daycare. Here I observed Finnish children that were playing.

Of course I have again done a lot of nice things. Finland is amazing! The nature is so beautiful, you can do great things here, the Finnish people are so lovely and all the erasmus people too!

I have been 2 times to Lapland. The first time with friends and the second time with my parents, We have seen the Northern Lights, have been on a safari with huskies, snowmobiles and reindeers. I also went to stockholm with a cruise with Finnish students from different cities. In may I don't have many lessons anymore and I plan to go to Iceland and estonia! I add just a few photos of my experiences here.
