Semester in Switzerland

Pädagogische Hochschule Luzern, Switzerland, Mobility for Study, PABO

It was pretty late when I decided to spend my semester in Switzerland. At first I wanted to go to Sweden, but when I saw that many students wanted to go there and already many had been there, I changed my plans. The Katholieke Pabo Zwolle, helped me to make contact with the PH in Luzern. This went very smooth, he called the school and the answered back immediatly. Also the contact per mail went very fast. They told me that I was welcome and send me all the papers to fill in, so i no time it was all set. I really have to give credits to both the international offices to help me out and react to quick to the situation.

I also received a list of courses I could chose. This varied a lot. Here are some examples; I could chose subjects related to brain and linguistics, teaching linguistics, The Swiss history, cultures of the English speaking world, arts, Human Rights, psycholinguistics, English, German etc.. There was enough to chose from! What I found so interested is that there are many subjects which i had never heard from, so new to me. There was no content per course given, only the names.

The registration process at the host organisation went very smooth. The forms I had to fill in were for the swiss mobility program, the PHLU semester contract and the courses I wanted to participate in.

The process went very fast and as told before, very smooth.

There has been error in communication with Booktype server. Not sure right now where is the problem.
